Yes, I travel all the South West (and beyond) usually the morning of your wedding. However, if your getting ready address is over 90 minutes traveling time one way or I need to leave my house before 6am I may need overnight accommodation. This will be added at the time of quotation. Please note travel time is charged at £6.25 per 15 minutes.

The ideal time for a trial is two or three months before the wedding day. I book out my diary for a couple of hours so we can have a cuppa and a proper chat about your dress, hair, flowers and theme. I will then try a few things until you are happy... I strongly encourage you to have a trial as this will give me a chance to see which products and techniques work best in your hair.
If you live too far away or cannot make any of my face-to-face salon trial appointments then I can offer a virtual trial consultation. Virtual trials will be a 30-minute video call where we can virtually meet and discuss everything in detail regarding your hair type, bridesmaids, timings and what style you would like.

I have a gorgeous home salon (cabin) in South Devon from which I do all my trials. This allows me to have absolutely everything I could need to hand and gives me more time to focus on creating your perfect bridal hair. However I can travel to you for a trial if necessary, a travel fee will be added to your quote
If you wash your hair every day then that is fine. All I ask is that your hair is clean and dry for your trial and on the wedding morning. It is more important than everyone’s hair is clean and dry before I come to style it on the wedding morning as I will not have time to dry hair then style. I prefer to work with clean hair as I have products to help with holding a curl and to give texture.
This all depends on your ceremony time. I work backwards from your ceremony time by calculating how long I will need for each person. I need to make sure you all have enough time to get dressed therefore aim to have everyone ready an absolute minimum of 45 minutes preferably 60 minutes before leaving/time of the ceremony. For example, if your ceremony is at 1 pm and you have 4 bridesmaids I would need to arrive at 6.15am to start styling at 6.30 am to be able to style all 5 of you.
The most important thing to consider first is that your bridesmaid is comfortable wearing their hair up/half up or down. I allocate 60 minutes per person. This may seem like a long time but 30/40 minutes of this is prep with the type of styles I create. Some bridesmaids take less and some a little more than 60 minutes depending on hair type/style required. When choosing a style please be mindful of their hair type (thickness, length and if it holds a curl) as if you/they would like a chunky braid but have fine hair then this probably isn't the best style. Half up or down styles actually take longer to create than an up-do so the full 60 minutes I allocate will be needed. We can discuss your bridesmaids' hair in more detail at your trial.
I am trained and specialise in wedding and occasion hair only. All of my styles require you to have clean dry hair the morning of the wedding ready for me to style. May I suggest you contact a salon local to your venue for any blow-dry requirements?
Quality over quantity! I allow 90 minutes for you and 60 minutes for other bridal party members. This may seem a long time but there is a lot of prep work needed for the styles I create for both up, half up and down looks. I also aim to have everyone's hair completed 45/60 minutes before you leave. This allows you time to get into your dresses, have photos and resolve any last-minute things. However I do not leave until you are all dressed and ready to leave for the ceremony. I then double-check everything before you go and get married and snap a few photos for my social media.
To secure your wedding date I require a non-refundable fee of £130. This is non-refundable as I would have turned away other weddings on your date. In exceptional circumstances, this, of course, can be discussed. Terms and conditions will be sent with your quotation but are also available on request. £80 of this fee is prepayment for your hair trial and £50 booking fee to secure your date, making it exclusive to you and to cover admin and correspondence.
I am self-employed and my fees are carefully calculated to include my experience, custom skills, insurance, products, tools, ongoing training, my administration tasks, trials, prep time and my time on your wedding day!
I love weddings and anything hair-up related. I specialise in bridal hair specifically as I enjoy this the most. On your wedding day (and before) I will do everything I can to make things run smoothly and will always be on hand to assist with hair and non-hair related things. Please read some of my reviews from past brides. This is not only a job for me it is a passion...
